Power Saving Green Essentials We are an intelligent planet, full of intelligent people, so what can we do to help reduce the consumption of energy use globally? Well if we all do our bit, we can all hopefully contribute and make a difference. We know you all love your TV's, Computers, Laptops and Gadgets and we are not asking you to dispose of them or stop using them, just use them sensibly and switch them off when not in use. So how can I help? We can now save the planet the smart way! We are proud to annouce we now have available a full range of Intelligent Power Plugs and Intelligent Power Panels that allow you to fit and forget, knowing that when you switch off your equipment, you no longer leave your accessories, power adapters and chargers on standby, thus wasting needless energy! Inetlligent eh, How do they work? By using a auto-calibration, they measure how much power your main device (TV, Laptop or Computer) uses when on and off. Then when you switch off as normal, it simply knows you no longer need your connected accessories left on. Simple, but intelligent. Beware of lesser brands that claim to be intelligent, when they are not. The Laptop version uses a USB cable and the TV version, also offers a Infra-Red receiver so you can actually switch off your TV from standby! Oh and their a British invention too. Will these really pay for themselves? These devices will pay for them selves within a short period of use! So if you have a Desktop PC or more around the home or office, what are you waiting for. Why should I care? Arguments like "OK so whats a few pounds a year to me I can afford it" or "I usually remember to switch off at the wall", are just not good enough!
