Just plug the IntelliPannel into the wall socket, plug in your main device (TV) to the main socket, then the rest and accessories into the 5 powerdown peripheral sockets. PLUS there is a further 2 always ON sockets for your DVR/VCR or Sky Plus, Sky HD or Virgin+ Box that needs to stay on to work. Well it would be no good to power off these if you intended to record tv while away from the set!
The IntelliPannel automatically powers your home accessories & peripheral equipment when the TV is switched on with your normal TV remote. Then switches them all off (at the wall) for you when you once again use your normal TV remote again. How does it does this? Well.. thanks to the Infra-Red cable included, you simply set your IntelliPanel to recognise your TV's remote control.
